EUGENIA PASTOR
Born in Ontinyent (Valencia) in 1981, she showed a liking for drawing at an early age, when she was around 3 years old. She began her art education at 7 years of age, and has not stopped until today.
At age 14 she went though a breakthrough in her painting. It was her new interest in the human figure and its complexity, the hyperrealism of it. She begings with her first works of dancers by copying works by other artists. She admires artists such as Degas, Dali, and especially those of the Renaissance: Raphael, DaVinci, Michelangelo, etc ... At this time, she discovered the art of Antonio López which dazzled her. At 18 she entered the University of Fine Arts in Altea (Alicante) and gained ease and expression in color and how to paint her feelings on the canvas.
She discovered she had countless different styles in herself, from classic to almost hyper-abstractionism. Using the spontaneity, the feeling reflected in the stroke, giving prominence to the gestures. She always used a benchmark and gradually disengaged from it, giving way to a world created by the author in which the beauty of what is contemplated is always a perfectionist pursuit of it and a neverending question for the viewer.
In the works exhibited by Eugenia, "the viewer, looking at the paintings, can discover the different textures and closed atmosphere they create", as the artist herself says. "You can see the whole picture or sections of it, and discover new sensations and creations that otherwise could not have existed."
Her art-works are totally different from each other, "you never loose the representation of realism, faithful in the beginning ... and then out of the imagination and inspiration. All in all a world of dreams, an oniric world in which everything has a place and opportunity is created. A personal and private world. " Paintings and drawings with different textures and materials that acquire a major role.
Certainly, any of the works of this painter is a promising and safe investment.
