Fernando Ferreira was born the 8th of March 1925 in Bollulos del Condado (Huelva, Spain). He was the youngest child of José Carrasco Salas and Marilde Ferreira Ramos: Joaquín, Antonio, Manolo (my father), two sisters who died very young, Juan, Fernando and Joselito (Matilde´s father, another excellent artist). He early highlighted at school because he presented his own designs. Therefore, his teacher Enrique Sicilia Sancho commented this ability to the carver and sculptor Antonio Delgado Jiménez - from Bollullos - and this artist directly contacted with Féliz Lacárcel who was in that moment restoring some pictures given by Jerónimo and Adulfo Neble.
